Introducing Me

Hello, my name is Renin Broadnax I am a passionate multimedia producer. Dedicated to creating stories that transcend a myriad of platforms, while shedding, while shedding light on issues such as global inequity and humanistic injustices. The work I display on my digital portfolio embodies all that I believe and the medius I chose to convey my passions are as follows audio, photo video, and journalism.

During my Junior year at Cabrini University, I assumed the position of social media coordinator for 3 organizations on Cabrini’s campus WYBF our on-campus radio station,  the Wolfington Center a non- profit dedicated to community outreach and lastly Cabrini’s chapter of Catholic Relief Services (CRS).

All of these positions help further my passion for conveying stories that are relevant to the marginalized minority.  Along with being a social media coordinator for those 3 organizations I also held the position of Perspectives Editor for the student-run newspaper the Loquitur. My responsibilities included overseeing 10 -15 staff writers, laying out my section of our 8-page newspaper and producing 30 -40 stories of my own, over two semesters.

This year with my two internships at Rowan University and becoming the Freelancer photography for Campus Philly I finally began to put my knowledge of social media and digital photography and videography in motion and I hope to continue to do so with my internship at Manayunk Development Corporation this Fall.
